Parker Layrisson Named Officer Of Ponchatoula Rotary Board

The Ponchatoula Rotary Club recently elected its 2011 officers. The new officers are: Sparky Welles, Treasurer; Parker Layrisson, President-Elect; Paul Jones, Secretary; Chad Richard, President; and Wil Richardson, Immediate Past President.

“It’s a great honor to serve as a Rotary officer,” said Layrisson. “Many fine men and women have set a good example for us, including my mother, who served as the first female president of the Ponchatoula club.
