Client Spotlight: Demetrius Carter

Demetrius Carter is a man of many talents. He is also a business owner, with many successful companies,  as well as a husband to Sharon and father of three children: Christina, 17; Elecia, 16; and Demetrius II, 10.  When he was injured in a car wreck, he needed to quickly get information, get help, and get healed.

Demetrius has 18 years of logistics experience. He also operates Adrean’s Maintenance LLC, which provides ground maintenance for commercial and residential properties. As the owner, Demetrius isn’t able to take sick leave or many days off. After another driver ran a stop sign and hit Demetrius’ vehicle, he was left with a shoulder injury that required months of physical therapy. Our office coordinated Demetrius’ claim against the driver who injured him, as well as his treatment. We handled everything so that he could concentrate on his health, his family, and his businesses.

We mentioned Demetrius has many talents. He also owns and operates ABC Stables in Ponchatoula, where he teaches horse riding lessons and  offer “meet-and-greet” sessions with the horses for local children. He is pictured above with I Got The Music in Me, a American Saddlebred horse. His entrepreneurial spirit carries on to his children. He helped them  open a snowball stand this summer – Sweet Stop Snowballs, 310 N. 1st St. in Ponchatoula.
